It took DRI about six months to develop, test and finalise the tools, instruments and processes applicable to the local socio-economic and legal environment. DRI has successfully drawn cooperation of a domestic commercial bank that has agreed to lend to the MSE clients who cannot provide collateral readily acceptable to bank but alternative methods are arranged by DRI to secure bank against its financial risk exposure. The bank has also agreed to finance viable MSEs that can come up with collaterals comprising of movable and immovable assets acceptable to the bank.
